Margeir and Magnus (The artist formerly known as Blake) have known each other for a long time. Theirs is the perfect symbiosis – together they generate enough momentum to set distant church bells peeling and with their united talent, they can easily bring the house down?

At nightclubs Margeir can be found spinning the tunes to which Magnus sings. While Magnus can be found injecting enthusiasm into the crowd by pulling his shirt off, Margeir isn’t far behind – he claims to be the first DJ in the world to stage dive into the crowd.

The music they play ranges from deep and electronic house to funky and soulful techno. Electrifying throngs of adrenaline-infused twenty-somethings with tech-house at nightclubs is as easy as swaying the formal cocktail bunch to a slow groove. Blake's short biography
Blake is Magnus Jonsson, a former member of the Gus Gus collective.
Magnus left the band in the year 1999 to focus on his solo career with his alter ego - Sgt. Blake. He released his solo album "DDD feat. Blake" in 2003. The European release is scheduled in September 2004.

Magnús or Blake as the ladies like call him, when the candles are lit and the mood is turned on, is probably the hairiest dude in Iceland and he therefore doesn't need to wear a sweater in the winter time.
